Last weekend one of the biggest trance parties in the world took place at Utrecht, Netherlands for the A State of Trance 650 New Horizons show featuring 4 stages at a special all night party. Thankfully for trance lovers all over the world some of these big DJs have uploaded their live sets on Soundcloud. The first cities and dates have been announced for A State of Trance 650!

The 633rd edition of the A State of Trance radio show was a special one as Armin Van Buuren announced the first 5 cities for the upcoming ASOT 650 world tour titled "New Horizons". Over the 2 hour special live show from Utrecht, Netherlands, Armin announced the first 5 lucky cities and dates:

  • February 1st - Yekaterinaburg, Russia
  • February 15th - Utrecht, Netherlands (Replacing Den Bosch as the hallmark ASOT show)
  • March 1st - Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • March 15th - Jakarta, Indonesia
  • March 30th - Miami

These were only the first 5 cities to be announced for ASOT 650, as more will be released in future A State of Trance radio shows. The first dates and cities weren't the only piece of news that came out of today's show as we discovered that Armin Van Buuren will be announcing the dates for his special Armin Only show on October 17th. So don't fret Canadian trance fans, as we still have a shot of possibly getting a few Armin Only dates while there is still hope for a Canadian city to be a part of the ASOT 650 world tour.

Last but not least, Jorn Van Deynhoven's track was selected as the ASOT 650 New Horizons anthem, congratulations! 

 

Armin Van Buuren will be coming to Canada next weekend for 2 events, the first will be at the sold out show in Edmonton for Pure 2013 on Oct 12th, and the second will be in Montreal at the New City Gas on Oct 13th.

This week is a big one for Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" as not only will we get to hear the first cities announced for the ASOT 650 "New Horizons" world tour, but fans can now vote for the ASOT 650 anthem. Last year's anthem was the powerful "The Expedition" track by Armin and Markus. So who will win this year? Listen to the entries below to pick your favourite:
