Must-see video: Giorgio Moroder on working with Daft Punk
/For those searching for any new Daft Punk news, then today is a good day as The Creators Project, an alliance between Intel and Vice, has launched a new series that interviews the collaborators behind Daft Punk's upcoming album Random Access Memories which will be released on May 21st. The first collaborators episode features Giorgio Moroder, the Grammy winning artist who gained fame during the disco era when he collaborated big names such as Donna Summer:
My favourite quote from the video that reveals a tiny bit of how Random Access Memories will sound, Moroder said "they [Daft Punk] had to do something which is different, still dance, still electronic, but give that human touch back".
I'm really looking forward to what Daft Punk has in store for us on May 21st.
