Preview Armin Van Buuren's new single 'This Is What It Feels Like'
/From Armin Van Buuren on the new album 'Intense':
"My new album Intense will be released on the third of May. I’m very excited about it and worked on it for three years. It’s a combination of more housey electro stuff and of course trance and some rock influences, even a little bit of dubstep and classical music."

Confirming my prior hunch that Armin Van Buuren may be changing his style starting with his collab with W&W for 'D# Fat', this latest track preview and the quote above takes my prediction about Armin one step further. Except with 'This Is What It Feels Like', the question isn't whether the track is trance or more on the progressive house side. The real question is whether his latest effort can be considered EDM at all as it distinctly sounds more on the Pop music side of the spectrum.
I'm still holding out hope that Armin will release noteworthy trance tracks on 'Intense' as his stunning performance at ASOT 600 on Saturday in Beirut proved his continued love for trance music. His set that night showed beyond any shadow of a doubt that Armin can still create a jaw-dropping trance spectacle that can please even the most hardcore trance fan.
