According to Uproxx, the following commercial was commissioned by Rolling Stone Italy. It's a pretty shocking attack of electronic dance music by a publication that has been slowly warming up to EDM over the past several years:
Quoted from Rolling Stone:
"The track list for the album is still being finalized, but the all-star crew of artists who have joined West in the studio is a who's who of music in 2013, ranging from Daft Punk and Skrillex to underage Chicago MC Chief Keef and members of Odd Future. "It was very raw," Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter says of one recent session with West. "He was rapping – kind of screaming primally."
Credit goes to VanCityDanceNrd for finding this big mistake on the part of Rolling Stone who wrote a quick article on the Phase 2 lineup of the Ultra Music Festival:
"The festival has also added a batch of electronic up-and-comers, including Benny Benassi, Steve Aoki, Dirty South, Eric Prydz, Hardwell and more."
Whoops. With the exception of Hardwell, none of those names can be considered 'up-and-comers'.

One major difference between this list and DJ Mag's Top 100 Poll is that Rolling Stone has decided to include a lot more House/Techno DJs with Richie Hawtin being the highest ranked of the bunch. I'm particularly happy that Rolling Stone decided to rank Diplo and Boys Noize in the top ten because they are far too talented and influential not to be included. But where are the Trance DJs? Not one Trance DJ is represented in this top 25 list. Surprising.
