Calling all DJs: Compete to represent Canada and travel to Las Vegas as part of the Miller Soundclash contest

Miller Genuine Draft created a great new Canadian contest that will give an up and coming local DJ a chance to head to Las Vegas and compete in the SoundClash finals against 12 other national representatives. To get that spot which includes a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the SoundcCash finale in September, there are a number of steps that you must do. 

Step 1

First of all, you have to create a special mix between 15-30 minutes and upload it on Mixcloud by clicking here. Make sure to put a title to your mix in this manner: "DJ Name - Canada - Miller SoundClash". You must also tag the mix with "Miller SoundClash: Canada", have an accurate tracklist, and use a specified cover art. For all rules, click here.

Step 2 

If you're accepted as one of the entrants, then you must compete in one of the two regional qualifiers happening in Toronto and Vancouver. If you don't live in Toronto or Vancouver, Miller Genuine Draft will cover your flight there. 

The first SounClash regional qualifier will happen in Toronto on Tuesday, June 30th at Maison Mercer. Along with the qualifiers they will also have Jed Harper and Addy performing as headliners. Fans should attend this event because it's free and MGD will be giving away a trip to Las Vegas to see the finals. For more details, click here. 

The second SoundClash regional will happen in Vancouver on Saturday, July 11th at Republic. For more details, click here. 

For each regional there will be 5 competitors and only 2 will be selected to move ahead to the finale in Toronto. 

Step 3

Four regional qualifiers (2 East, 2 West) along with an extra wildcard digital entrant will be flown to Toronto to compete in the Miller SoundClash 2015 National Finals at the Cube Nightclub. All entrants will then compete to see who will be the Canadian SoundClash representative who will go to Las Vegas for the global finale in September. For more event information, click here. 

The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and will based on DJ talent and crowd reaction.
