Toronto based PBR Recordings celebrates its 100th release

Founded by MC Flipside and A-Divizion in 2007, the Toronto based PBR Recordings will celebrate its 100th release tomorrow with a new 3 track package. The original track by A-Divizion and MC Flipside titled "What It's About 2013" has a more progressive house flavour, while Simon Doty's remix gives it a distinct groovy house feel. Nathaniel Knows flips the script by creating a memorable dirty trap remix that I really enjoy, check it out:

All 3 tracks from the "What It's About 2013" release will be available on September 24th, congratulations PBR Recordings!

Mark Van Dale with Enrico - 'Water Verve' (Leon Bolier Remix)

This track just came out yesterday and it's well worth your attention:

Based on the classic house track made by Mark Van Dale (Source: Thebeatmill), I have come to know this melody mainly from the Verve's huge hit 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' back in the late 90s. So seeing Leon Bolier, one of the most prolific producers in the scene, remix this classic with the addition of what I would like to call his signature sound to the track is certainly great to listen to. Leon Bolier's tracks are almost always a crowd-pleaser on the dance floor and this latest release simply adds to this reputation.

You can pick up the track from Beatport.

What was the most played track at Electric Zoo according to Dancing Astronaut?

Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash - Reload:

I bet it will go straight to #1 on Beatport when it is officially released on September 21st.

Bonus: Speaking of the Electric Zoo festival here's what EDM Snob said about the experience:

He first called New York City a "magical place" but then 3 paragraphs later he referred to NYC as "the most detached and emotionless cities in the world".

In respect to the festival itself he stated "Electric Zoo is one of those festivals that leaves you in awe of the power of experience". But when compared to Ultra Music Festival, EDC and Sensation he stated that Electric Zoo was "painfully ordinary". "As a result, there were relative lulls in each day where I saw people in a state I call “active boredom”; they were walking around just for the sake of moving."

I like EDM Snob but I found this review to be a little harsh.
