An electronic music comedy on HBO with help from Calvin Harris?

As reported by Deadline:

"Top UK DJ Calvin Harris has teamed with U.S. music stars Will Smith and Jay-Z for Higher, a half-hour comedy series project that has been set up at HBO for development. Written by Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh and developed with Harris’ help, the fictional comedy is set in the world of electronic music."

I would have just laughed this off if it wasn't for the fact Irvine Welsh of Trainspotting fame had written it and that HBO had given it a go for development. This is for real and I'm curious to see the results.
