Flume shares new track on Annie Mac's BBC show

Flume will be one of the hottest artists of 2016 and he's about to release a brand new LP that will hopefully be released before the summer festival season. This week on Annie Mac's BBC show, Flume was in the studio to play a few tracks off of his new album including a live version of "Never Be Like You" featuring Kai, along with a brand new original and a cover of Alessia Cara's "Here". If you're a fan of Flume, then this is a must-listen.

Free download: DJ Snake "808 After Party" Minimix for Annie Mac

DJ Snake was the latest artist to be asked to create a 5 minimix for Annie Mac's show on BBC. Madeon has credited his minimix for originally boosting his career, so these 5 minute mixes are kind of a big deal. DJ Snake used 8 tracks composed entirely of his originals and remixes for the mix, enjoy:

Tracklist:

Dj Snake - Turn Down For What (Feat Lil Jon)
DJ Snake x Yellow Claw x Spanker - Slow Down
Dillon Francis & Dj Snake - Get Low
Dj Snake - Bird Machine (Feat Alesia)
Major Lazer - Bubble Butt (Dj Snake Remix)
Dj Snake & Flosstradamus - Pop That P****
Aluna Georges x Toto - You know you like it (Dj Snake Remix)
Kanye West - New Slaves (Dj Snake Remix)

It's surprising how much you can get done in 5 minutes. You can download this mix for free by clicking here.

Annie Mac follows around Tiesto for a few days (Video)

From Youtube (Via Inthemix):

*Update* Seems like the video was taken down. Sorry to those who didn't get to see it. But honestly if you wanted to see something similar with the same production value go check out 'in the booth' series. The link is below.

*Update #2* Here's a new link to the video.

Didn't learn too much about Tiesto himself because most of these bases were already covered in the 'In the Booth' series but I did learn a few things about Annie Mac. For one, this encounter was the first time Annie Mac had met Tiesto, and number two, it was also her first time to Las Vegas.

Annie Mac Interview (Clash)

I learned a lot from this interview of Annie Mac by Clash.

..."since dance music has got so big now, it’s quite ironic that the Calvin Harris ‘Spectrum’ remix is what got Florence to number 1, not the original. So remixes are crucial now to artists, and they can be what propel artists to fame, rather than just being a tool for DJs. But when you look at the top 40 or something, pop music is dance music now."
