Rob Swire of Knife Party to take 6 months off next year

Rob Swire of Knife Party has recently announced on Twitter that he will be taking 6 months off at the beginning of 2014 to concentrate on writing music:

Starting next year I will take 6 months off just to write music, and any festival / show / meeting that falls within that time can GTFO.

I realise we're lucky to be in the position we're in, blah blah etc, but not having the time to write music anymore is...so...depressing.

I hope Rob will use that time to create a full Knife Party album which would easily become one of the most anticipated albums of 2014. It's not still clear whether Gareth McGrillen, the other half of Knife Party, will be continuing their live shows but judging from the first tweet, I think we'll have to wait 6 months before we get to see Knife Party live next year.
