Just to clarify I was questioned by the police as they needed to check my work visa was valid, everything was fine and I was free to go.

According to inthemix, the Indian authorities interrupted Dash Berlin's set for an ill-timed work visa check. Dash has since re-emphasized his love for India as he continued his tour at the Sunburn Noidia 2013 the next night: (fast forward to the 3 hour mark)

Hopefully the rest of Dash's tour goes on without a hitch.
