Daft Punk set to release new album this Spring

Very exciting news from France this evening as we learned that Daft Punk is set to release an upcoming album this Spring through Sony/Columbia.

But the big million question remains: will this new album release mean a Daft Punk world tour this year? One can hope.

*Update: There have been so many rumours circulating about Daft Punk in the past few years that I hope this piece of news is the real deal. Out of all of the Daft Punk news I've read since starting this site, this story feels genuine.
