Calgary nightclubs and their statuses

Here is a list of popular nightclubs in Calgary and their status regarding COVID-19 for now (subject to change at any time):

 Ace Nightclub: OPEN

As is the case yesterday, Ace will operate under a capacity of 250 or less. No word on if they will continue for next weekend

 Cowboys Dance Hall: OPEN

After viewing their Instagram story from last night, it appears the club will remain open but under strict capacity

 Hifi Club: OPEN

Hifi will remain open

Knoxville’s Tavern: CLOSED

This included the St Paddy’s Blowout Party but there were no “No Filter” nights effected. Unknown if they will open next weekend

The Back Alley (formerly Marquee): OPEN

Back Alley will operate this weekend

New City Gas to temporarily suspend their operations due to new social distancing measures

New City Gas is arguably Montreal’s premier nightclub, and a major hub for EDM events. This is huge news coming out of Montreal and could be a preview of things to come as all promoters find a way to deal with the new social distancing measures nationwide. Here is their statement below:
